Digital Project Manager - Job Opening

Job Summary

Location: Quatre Bornes, Mauritius

As a project manager, you will take charge of projects from initiation until delivery, keeping business components in mind, including planning, budget management, team management, etc. We offer a large scope of projects –from developing a documentation approach in SharePoint, to migrating our ERP system or further automating processes to increase our efficiency.

The digital department, which you would join, is composed of sub-departments, such as PMO, E-commerce, Data, and IT. These teams are made up of over 10 individuals with a solution-oriented attitude, each of them acting as catalysts of evolution across the organization.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

Translate business requests into a technical solution considering Ecommerce feasibilities, legal (regulations), logistical flows and IT systems
End to end project management including budget control, majorly related to E-commerce (webshop creation, migration, upgrades, technical bugs, and issues)
Pre-sales   
Translating business requests into technical solutions, considering feasibilities, legal (regulations), logistical flows and IT systems. 
Executing deliverables and ensuring their quality in order to provide solutions that meet the needs of the organisation. 
Actively participating in the implementation of a project, proposing adequate solutions, supervising, validating, and giving back to all aspects of the project, in order to satisfy the organisational requirements, methodology and quality standards. 
Identifying and monitoring strategic changes in the business and the market, in order to challenge the initiatives and incorporate them within the organisation in the best way possible. 
Advising and coaching co-workers and key users in order to improve results and processes on a continuous basis, and in accordance with the expectations of the organisation.  
Standardizing our offering and aim to have a stable and solid scope of solutions. 
Performing other project activities and providing support for commercial activities in an international context. 

 

Hard skills:

You are digitally literate, and you easily find your way around digital applications (such as Office 365, Odoo, WMS, PM tools, E-commerce). 
You work in a project-oriented, accurate and systematic manner. 
You have a knack for languages: English, and French or Dutch are a must, additional languages are a plus, of course.  
You are open to traveling occasionally. 
Over 2 years of experience in e-Commerce / digital in management is a major plus 

Soft skills:

You know that being solution-oriented, and hands-on are the keys to success! 
You are able to swiftly analyse and summarize situations.  
You know how to manage healthy chaos, which means that you can adapt to changing circumstances proactively and independently. 
You are definitely a team player.
